Description

Bring warm bronze colour and fine texture to your garden with a New Zealand native bronze sedge (Carex). These healthy seedlings have grown naturally from self-sown garden stock and are potted in fresh potting mix, ready to plant into the ground or move into a larger pot.

Hardy, evergreen and low-maintenance, these ornamental grasses feature fine coppery-bronze foliage with curled tips. They are drought-tolerant once established and suit rock gardens, gravel borders, pot displays and mass planting.

Each purchase is for one potted seedling. The photos showing two pots are examples of the seedlings available; this is not a two-plant bundle. The mature grass photos illustrate established growth. Individual seedlings naturally vary in size and shape.

Botanical identification: Carex species, believed to be Carex comans or Carex buchananii. The exact species has not been confirmed.
